What is a Mini Session?
A mini session is a short, pre-planned photo session offered at a lower price than a full session. It includes one setup, limited time, and a set number of edited images. Minis do not include outfit changes or customization and are best for quick and seasonal/holiday photos.
If you’re looking for more time, creative flexibility, outfit changes, or a fully guided experience, a full session would be the better fit.
How many pictures will we receive?
Each package has their own set number of images. Additional images are $5 per image.
How should we dress for our family session?
Every family has their own dynamic. You can contact me and we can discuss a color palette that suits your family best.
When Is The Best Time To Have A Maternity Photoshoot?
The best time for a maternity photoshoot is typically between 28–34 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage your belly is beautifully round and prominent, you’re usually still comfortable enough to pose and move, and swelling and fatigue are often more manageable.
If you’re expecting twins or have a high-risk pregnancy, scheduling a bit earlier (around 26–30 weeks) is recommended.
Ultimately, the best time is when you feel your best—comfort and confidence make all the difference in your photos.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
The best time to have a session with a newborn is within the first 7-14 days of life. During this time, babies are sleepier and easier to pose naturally. This does not mean that we cannot photograph an older newborn, but posing may be limited. We recommend booking your newborn session during pregnancy to reserve availability, with the session date finalized once your baby arrives.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
That is completely okay! My goal is to help you feel like you can be yourself around me. We can capture candid shots or I can provide instructional posing. I provide full posing guidance throughout your session, including direction for natural movements, hand placement, and flattering angles, so you never have to worry about what to do in front of the camera.
What is a proof gallery vs a final gallery?
A proof gallery is a selection of lightly edited images for you to review and choose your favorites from. These images are not fully retouched and may include similar poses or expressions. You will choose your favorites from the proof gallery.
What Happens After You Choose Your Favorites: Once you’ve selected your images, I’ll complete the full professional editing process. This includes: Fine-tuning color, lighting, and contrast for a polished finish, retouching skin, removing blemishes, and brightening eyes and smiles (for portraits) & cleaning up backgrounds.
A final gallery includes your selected favorite images that have been fully edited and polished, ready for download, sharing, and printing.
What Forms of payment do you accept?
I accept card, bank transfer, affirm and klarna. Cash is accepted for final payments, but to secure your booking you must pay with electronic payment.
What is required to book my session?
To book your session, a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are required. Your session is officially secured once both are received, and the remaining balance is due the day of your session.
**Final payment for weddings is due 48 hours prior to your wedding date.
Consider when booking:
-Some locations may require a parking fee that the client is responsible for.
-Some locations require a permit, that the client is responsible for.
-If travel is beyond 1 hour from photographer home location, I will charge 72.5 cents a mile.
-All sessions, unless otherwise noted, have a turnaround time of 14 business days. So please book accordingly.
-50% non refundable retainer is due at booking unless otherwise noted.
-When proof galleries are sent, these are for you to select your final photos that will be retouched. I cannot start editing your images until you have made your selection and paid all invoices.
Late Fee/Refunds
If you are late without a notice, I will charge an invoice of $10 every 15 minutes. Galleries will not be delivered until paid.
Refunds are not given unless photographer has to cancel the session.
